Be the Love Campaign is a Community Development Corporation of Capital City Church, a dynamic, multi-cultural congregation in the Washington, DC area committed to seeing real life change, and serves as the social justice and outreach arm of the Church.

Be the Love Campaign is all about empowering people to be the change in their world. We recognize that empathy is not enough to solve the problems that we face. We believe that while the statistics of suffering in our world today are overwhelming, we, together are not powerless. We have something in our hand and when we band together we can have a tremendous impact for good. From global opportunities to local community outreach, we are intentional about communicating value, strength and most of all love.

Here’s how you can join the movement!

Anti Trafficking

Modern Day Slavery is the second largest criminal industry in the world. Today it is estimated that over 12 million people worldwide are trafficked (Source: United Nations). These statistics seem overwhelming but each number represents a life. Each life has a story. Every life deserves freedom.

Capital City Church’s Be the Love Campaign is is committed to partnering with the A21 Campaign to right the injustice of slavery. We are joining with them to support their mission to raise awareness, take legal action where appropriate, and offer rehabilitation services to rescued victims of human trafficking in order to fight this injustice from a comprehensive approach. Through monthly support and annual initiatives, Be The Love is a significant advocate for the cause of A21. For more information about the A21 Campaign visit their website at

24,000 children die each day from preventable causes (Source: UNICEF). Many of those children die simply because they do not have adequate food to make it through the day. Capital City Church’s Be the Love Campaign is supporting Joint Aid Management (JAM) in their goal of feeding 1 million African children each day. JAM is an African founded, registered non-profit humanitarian relief and development organization, with 26 years experience in sustainable development. JAM’s programs focus on nutritional feeding, school feeding, assistance to orphans and vulnerable children, the provision of water and sanitation, as well as skills development, community training on agricultural development, income generation projects and HIV/AIDS programming.
